i've been trying to ignore everything underneath. we laugh. and we talk. and we walk around together. and i confide in my friends that i hate the i can't really ignore what's underneath. and she asks, 'do you really think you can just be friends forever? can you really be happy like that?'

and she's right. it's impossible to ignore. and i just can't understand why.
